Sorry all… I said in my intro that I was the only Vlogger in the state.

That’s not technically true.

Kevin Hicks of HFO is doing some great Vlogs.

But to be honest he seems more of the Chicago crowd to me.

He’s all they up north and all.

I’ll always think of you as Chi-Town until you finally move back to Indy.

First off, I would consider my new town as more of a part of Indiana than my former crap town. Valpo is much more country-ized.

So, I would now consider myself an Indiana blogger….hence why I haven’t signed up for “Chicago Bloggers”. Screw them, we’ll start our own group, or duo.

Unfortunately a lot of the editing got lost… and I’ve been so pissed off that I haven’t gone back to fix it yet.

This is the second vlog I couldn’t view today because the notice said it contained “MIME” content and that I did not have the plug in for that.

How do I get a MIME plug in for a Mac. I’ve not had any problems seeing several of the other vlogs you’ve done.

(I’m not Doug, but I’ll take a stab at this…)

Hmmm. I get this sometimes in Firefox because the ActiveX controller for Windows Media Player doesn’t play nice with Firefox in some cases… however its odd that you can see some of doug’s stuff and not all of it.

The plugin you need is the Windows Media Player for whatever browser you are in.

As a work around, you can download the video directly and view it outside of the webpage. When you get the pop-up window that should play the movie, look for the text:

“If you are having difficulty watching the video you can download it here.”

That text provides a link to the movie file itself which you can click on to view outside of the embedded player.

Meanwhile, stay tuned for fixes on this end.

If the direct download doesnt work … then … I think that means the world is ending or something.
