Recently Ethan (my 2.5 year old son) came up to me as I was walking through the kitchen and said:
“Daddy, I’m gonna burn the house down.”

I stopped dead in my tracks.
As I replayed the event in my head it got even creepier.

“What’s that buddy?” I said.

He repeated faithfully, “Daddy, I’m gonna burn the house down.”

I got to the ‘B’ in Burn when I realized what was going on.

Relieved we spent the after noon stacking rolls of paper towels and trying to blow them over.
