Under the Knife… then the laser.

Well tomorrow I have an appointment with the retinal specialist to finally determine if I am a good lasik candidate.

If all goes well I should be getting the procedure on Friday.

Saturday I’ll no doubt be a bit uncomfortable, but seeing like an eagle.

Perhaps my new super vision will help me with Sunday’s poker tournament? Maybe I’ll be able to see right through the cards and read everyone’s hand.

Maybe I’ll be able to peer even deeper into my opponents soul to decide if he is bluffing…

of course it’s possible I’ll wake up Saturday, rub my eyes out of habit, and instantly go blind.

Please put in a good word for me if you are in the habit of praying.

If not.. just think good things and send me a good vibe… or something…

What was your prescription? Mine is a pretty heavy -7.50. I am considering lasik as well and would like the feedback.

Mine was -4.5

I’ve heard tell of -8 being good candidates though so it’s not out of reach for you!

Hope that helps.

I suggest at least talking to the folks at TLC if you are going to look into it.

There’s also a well known Dr. in the Chicagoland area named Kraft. He did Dave’s eyes.
