Previously…on 24.

Well for those of you not up to speed it’s that time of year again.

The best show on TV is back on the air.

Jack Bauer is back and having yet another Bad day.

Aside from two of favorite characters being dead, and another still unresponsive from his barely surviving a car bombing attempt things are already heating up.

It’s not even noon on the show’s timeline and already we’ve seen:

  • A former President assassinated.
  • Car bombings.
  • Moles deep within CTU
  • And the White House Chief of Staff is still Evil.

Ahhh… I love that show.

For a list of all the silly/impossible things the cast of characters seem to get done in almost no time at all check out this site.

Wednesday Already???

Hello all…

Hope you enjoyed the Vegas Video.

Work is super busy.
Jana and I are keeping pretty busy too.

Things are happening and I hope to have a nice update for all of you in the not-to-distant future. Stay tuned.

Anyway…

This weekend Kevin, Corrie, Avery, and Carson came to Indy.

The catalyst of the visit was a rare return to Indy by Kurt. Kurt, Kevin, and Corrie had dinner plans so Jana and I watched the kids.

It was their first attempt to deal with Sterling.

They did great.

So did Sterling.

You can read all about it in Kevin’s Blog.

Luckily I got to see Kurt as well. They all came over after dinner to play a game of CAPS.

I played pretty well.. and despite some girls not wanting to finish the game I was able to pull a victory out. Felt good to play again.

That’s all for now.

I’d write more… but Kevin summed it up pretty well… go read his Blog. Very Happy

Colts, Puppys, and Posting Calendars

Hi Everybody.

You know that Vlog I promised you from CES… well it’s coming keep your pants on.

The trouble is I’m really FAR to fat to be on camera anymore.

Anyway the nice thing about my new little post calendar is that it nags me non stop about posting. December was a fairly prolific month, and at the moment January has one sad little day.

So here I am posting.

Unfortunately looking back at the October calendar is shameful.

That’s the down side of the calendar. It’s a very quick visual at my slacking off sometimes.

Ain’t technology grand?

Anyway Kevin and family will be stopping by this weekend, and everyone here is thrilled.

Jana and I can’t wait to see Kevin, Corrie, and the kids.

Jana and I have been trying to come up with something fun to do with the kids when they are with us. So far all our ideas have fallen through. There’s always movie rental as a fall back I suppose.

Even Sterling is getting excited. She can’t wait to meet Avery and Carson.

The silly little mutt is jumping around barking like it’s Christmas.

what else…

The Colts game is Sunday and it should be a blast!

We’ll be watching the game on TV in beautiful HD, as Kevin sits at the dome and makes enough noise for all of us.

Should be a good weekend.

Maybe we’ll get some video of it.

Links Will Return

The links to my friends, family, and daily Blog intake will be back.

It’s not gone forever, I just haven’t added them to the theme.

Stay tuned… I’ll update this story when it’s all back up and running.

Good to be home.

Hi everybody.

So I’m back from Vegas and glad to be home.

CES went well, and I hope to have a vlog for you soon, but I wanted to at least say hello.

HELLO!

This year in Vegas I was sure to play more cards than I did last year.

I did ok, though I was too busy with the show to really play as much as I would have liked, or as much as I SHOULD have in order to truly gauge how I was playing.

I played 3-6 Limit Holdem twice and 2-4 once.

The 2-4 game was at Binnions downtown.

Of the three sessions I was up two, and down one.

The down session was a net loss of one dollar so not too bad.

(if I hadn’t tipped the waitress that last time I could have broke even)

Anyway Binnions was awesome.

It was Sunday night and the place was DEAD.

It wasn’t NEARLY as glitzy as the casinos on the strip.

And the wall of champions had the pictures of Brunson, and Puggy Pearson, and Amarillo Slim… a lot of history there.

I only played for about an hour, but made a quick 42 bucks.

Overall it looks like I made about $28 and hour.

Nice, but not enough to quit my Job and hang out with Phil Ivey

(and I doubt very much that I could be consistent at even that level)
